Sigur Ros to Perform in Jakarta

Sigur Rós to perform at their first concert in Jakarta

Icelandic post-rock band Sigur Rós will perform in Jakarta for the first time ever  at Istora Senayan Jakarta on May 10, 2013.

Promoter Flux and Play confirmed says it is providing up to 7,000 tickets for the much awaited performance.

Known for its ethereal sound, frontman Jónsi Birgisson’s falsetto vocals, and the use of bowed guitar, the band’s music is also currently in a studio in los angeles mixing a new album, due for release in 2013.
