Atoms for Peace : Judge, Jury, and Executioner (Singles)
What do you think of when you hear the name Thom Yorke or Flea?, and what do you think about if the two of them merge into one band?, it’s totally electro-badass!!.
Enthusiastm of experimenting in music makes them both decided to create a supergroup called “Atoms for Peace”.
Atoms For Peace is an experimental rock & electronic supergroup formed in late 2009 in Los Angeles, California. The group consists ofRadiohead lead singer Thom Yorke (vocals, guitar and piano), Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea (bass), longtime Radiohead producerNigel Godrich (guitar, keyboards, synths), Joey Waronker of Beck & R.E.M. (drums) and instrumentalist Mauro Refosco (percussion).
In 2013, Atoms for Peace planning to release their new album entitled Amok. Their first single titled “Judge, Jury, and Executioner” can be heard on Youtube.
As usual, Thom Yorke presents room of experimental sounds in every song. The lyrics are strong and dark presented in his latest single.
Easily mistakable for a Radiohead track, ‘Judge Jury and Executioner’ premiered yesterday on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show and was then released online via this abstract, architectural clip.
It’s still early knowing what looks like flea’s role in this single, but it’s interesting to be listened to in Amok that will be released next month. So, stay tuned in Asianoise.com for the latest news about Atoms for Peace.
